Can I use a Home Care Package or Support at Home funding for your support?
If you self-manage your Home Care Package or Support at Home funding (the new aged-care program that began replacing Home Care Packages in late 2025), you can usually choose your own support workers, including an independent worker. Arrangements depend on your situation — My Aged Care (1800 200 422) can confirm your options, and I'm happy to talk it through.
Is this an aged care or NDIS service?
