A Male Support Worker in Perth

Looking for a male support worker in Perth? I'm Samuel — an experienced, safely-checked, non-clinical support worker, and a reliable, positive male role model.

Sometimes the right support is also about the right fit. Some families are specifically after a male support worker — a dependable role model for a son or younger man, someone to get out and about with, or simply the person they'd feel most comfortable with. That's a completely valid choice.

I'm an independent support worker in Perth with 9+ years' experience, providing non-clinical support and companionship across the Perth metro area.

Why a male support worker?

There's no single reason, and you don't need to justify it. Common ones I hear:

  • A positive male role model — especially for boys and young men.
  • Shared interests — sport, the gym, getting outdoors, hands-on hobbies.
  • Comfort and confidence — some people simply feel more at ease with a male worker.
  • Consistency — the same familiar face each visit, rather than a rotating roster.

How I can help

My support is practical and non-clinical, built around the person's interests and goals:

  • Getting out into the community — activities, sport, outings and hobbies.
  • Companionship and mentoring — a dependable person to spend time with.
  • Building confidence and everyday independence.
  • Light everyday help at home and getting to appointments.

I provide non-clinical support and companionship — not personal care, therapy or clinical services, which are for suitably qualified providers.

Who I support

Children, teens and adults — NDIS participants, older adults, and private clients. I hold a Working With Children Check, so I can also support children and young people, and I offer ADHD and autism support too. How it's funded can be through the NDIS, aged care, or privately.

Safe and properly checked

I hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, Working With Children Check and First Aid & CPR, with public liability insurance and references available on request. I'm always glad to show evidence before we begin — read more on my checks & insurance page.
