Brain Injury Support

An Acquired Brain Injury Support Worker in Perth

Experienced Support. Genuine Connection. Your Life, Your Way.

Patient, consistent support that helps rebuild routine and confidence.

Life after an acquired brain injury (ABI) can change in ways that are hard for others to see. The right support is patient, familiar and steady — someone who understands that consistency and clear routine make a real difference.

I'm Samuel, an independent support worker in Perth with more than 9 years of experience supporting people with a wide range of needs.

As an independent brain injury support worker, I offer consistent, one-to-one support from the same familiar person, at a pace that works for you.

Steady, Familiar, Patient Support

After a brain injury, small changes to routine or unfamiliar faces can make everyday life harder. That's exactly why one-to-one support from the same person matters so much: predictability, patience and a calm, familiar presence. My role is to provide practical, everyday support that helps you rebuild structure and confidence, in your own time.

How I Can Help

Depending on your circumstances, non-clinical ABI support might include:

Routine & Structure

Gentle support to plan and keep to predictable routines that make the day easier.

Prompts & Reminders

Friendly prompting for appointments, tasks and everyday steps, at your pace.

Community Access

Support to get back out into the community, attend activities and stay connected.

Social Connection

Companionship and support to rebuild social confidence and ease isolation.

Everyday Activities

Practical help with day-to-day tasks while encouraging independence.

Respite for Family

Reliable support that also gives family and carers a break.

Support is available for adults and young people, shaped around each person's individual needs.

Honest About What I Do & Don't Provide

I provide non-clinical support and companionship. I do not provide rehabilitation, therapy, personal care, medication or clinical support — those should be provided by qualified professionals. My support works alongside any rehabilitation team, therapists or clinicians already involved, focusing on the everyday, practical side of life.

Brain Injury Support and the NDIS

Many people living with an acquired brain injury access support through the NDIS, often under core supports like assistance with daily life and community participation. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can usually choose their own support workers, including an independent provider like me. How support can be arranged depends on your plan and circumstances. Patient, familiar support — at your own pace.
